![]() The Serenader name was used on a wide variety of guitars and equipment from the 1920’s right on into the 1960’s. The company had instruments built for them by many of the factories that we’ve become familiar with, Stromberg-Voisenet (later to become Kay), Espana and Regal. This collectable Serenader comes with a chipboard case.Ī little about B&J Music: B & J, or Buegeleisen and Jacobson, was a musical instrument distributor based in New York City for most of the Twentieth Century. The guitar itself has had some glue repairs in the past and everything seems stable. There are scratches and marks, as can be seen in the photos but there doesn’t appear to be any cracks or warping. The condition of the top and image is good. ![]() It’s pretty rare, as there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of information or images of this particular guitar and image! ![]() Here’s a rare, cool vintage B&J parlor stencil guitar! It’s a Serenader with what I believe is the “Buckeye” cowboy image on it.
